REDUKTION - Use of high-frequency induction for more energy-efficient hot stamping technology

The REDUKTION research project aims to implement high-frequency (HF) induction with magnetic susceptors in order to establish an optimized heating process for hot stamping, thereby increasing energy efficiency and sustainability in industry.
Despite the high degree of maturity of related technologies, inductive stamping with susceptors is still in an early stage of development, offering considerable potential for innovation. Successful demonstration of this technology could lead to significant energy savings and increased flexibility in industrial processes, while also facilitating the recycling of components through local energy input.
